Crisis Text Line provides free, confidential mental health support through text messaging. The service connects people who are struggling, distressed, or in crisis with trained volunteer crisis responders who offer support in the moment and help people move from a place of distress towards feeling safer and more calm.

Support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Conversations are private and designed to help people experiencing overwhelming emotions, anxiety, loneliness, or suicidal thoughts. The service operates in several countries through partner organisations that provide text-based crisis support in their regions.
